Terms of service

OVERVIEW

These Terms of Service govern access to the Swiss Verelle website and purchases made through its online store. References to "Swiss Verelle", "we", "us" and "our" mean the seller operating under the Swiss Verelle brand. References to "you" mean the visitor or customer. Shopify provides the store platform and is not the seller of our products.

Before placing an order, read these terms together with our Shipping Information, Returns and Refunds, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. The version available when an order is submitted applies to that order. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

SECTION 1: ONLINE SHOPPING

To place an order, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the law applicable to you. Information supplied during checkout must be accurate, complete and current. If you create an account, you are responsible for protecting your login details and notifying us of unauthorized use.

You must not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, infringement of third-party rights or interference with website security. Disruptive automated access, malicious software and attempts to obtain another customer's information are prohibited.

SECTION 2: PRODUCTS

Product features, dimensions, colors and available options are described on the relevant product page. Please check these details before ordering. Screen settings, lighting and photography can affect the appearance of colors. Minor visual differences do not by themselves determine whether a product is defective; applicable legal standards continue to apply.

The word "Swiss" forms part of our brand name. It does not, by itself, represent that an item was manufactured in Switzerland. Any product-origin statement must be expressly provided for the item concerned.

SECTION 3: PRICES AND PAYMENT CHARGES

Prices are displayed in US dollars unless another currency is expressly selected or identified. The currency and total applicable to your purchase are shown at checkout. Shipping costs and taxes collected by the store are identified before you submit the order. No optional charge should be added without your agreement.

Import charges collected directly by a destination authority are addressed in Shipping Information. Your bank or payment provider may separately apply conversion or transaction fees. Price changes for future orders do not change the agreed price of an accepted order.

SECTION 4: PLACING AN ORDER

You can select products, add them to your cart and review the quantity, variants, delivery details and total before submitting an order. Use the checkout controls to correct errors before confirming a purchase. Submitting the payment step constitutes an offer to purchase the selected items under these terms.

An automated acknowledgment confirms receipt but does not, by itself, constitute acceptance. An order is accepted when we send an express acceptance or dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept an order because of unavailable stock, a material listing error or an unresolved payment issue, we will inform you and return any amount collected for the unaccepted order. Mandatory rules on contract formation prevail where applicable.

SECTION 5: PAYMENT

Payment options are shown at checkout. You authorize the relevant provider to process the stated total using your selected method. Orders can be subject to proportionate payment and fraud checks. Information reasonably necessary to resolve a payment discrepancy may be requested, but you should never send full card numbers or security codes through a contact message.

SECTION 6: SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Delivery arrangements are described in Shipping Information. Requests to correct or cancel an order should be made promptly through the Contact page. Once fulfillment has started, changes may no longer be possible. This does not affect a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right.

Returns and Refunds explains our voluntary return process. Mandatory remedies for faulty, misdescribed or nonconforming goods are separate from that policy and are not reduced by it.

SECTION 7: WEBSITE CONTENT AND EXTERNAL LINKS

You may view website content for personal shopping purposes. Reproduction, commercial reuse or distribution of protected text, imagery, design elements or brand assets requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law. Access does not transfer intellectual property rights.

External websites and services have their own terms. We do not control their content or operation. Linking to them does not remove responsibility for obligations that are legally ours.

SECTION 8: SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY

We take reasonable steps to keep store information accurate and the website available, but maintenance, interruptions and technical errors can occur. An interruption does not remove obligations arising from an accepted order.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by misuse of the website or circumstances for which we are not legally responsible. No clause excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any mandatory consumer remedy.

SECTION 9: GOVERNING LAW

These terms are intended to be governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory protections available under the law applicable to the consumer. This choice does not deprive you of rights or court access that cannot lawfully be waived. Please contact us first to raise a concern; doing so does not limit your right to use an available regulator, dispute process or court.

SECTION 10: CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order without a lawful basis or agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
